Baseball Prepares for Second Day of HCAC Tourney

RICHMOND, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will compete in the second day of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament on Friday at 12:30 p.m.

Rose-Hulman stands 18-23 overall after narrowly falling 4-3 in 10 innings to open the HCAC Tournament at Earlham College on Thursday. The Fightin' Engineers will face Mount St. Joseph, who also fell in a one-run game 7-6 to Manchester University on Thursday.

The winner of the Rose-Hulman vs. Mount St. Joseph game will return to the diamond almost immediately at 4 p.m., facing the loser of the day's first game between Earlham and Manchester. The winner of Friday morning's game will advance to the championship game against the winner of Friday's 4 p.m. game.
