Rose-Hulman Baseball to Play Twice Friday in HCAC Tourney Starting at Noon

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament has been suspended in the top of the ninth inning of game 2 due to a heavy early evening thunderstorm.

Rose-Hulman will now begin its play in the HCAC Tournament on Friday at noon against Defiance College. The Yellow Jackets defeated Transylvania 16-8 in the opener of the tournament to advance into the winners bracket.

The Fightin' Engineers will now place twice in Friday's revised schedule. The revised schedule is below.

Game 1: Defiance 16, Transylvania 8 (BOX SCORE)
Game 2: Franklin 6, Anderson 4 (BOX SCORE)

Friday, May 10
Game 3: Rose-Hulman vs. Defiance, Noon
Game 4: Anderson vs. Transylvania, 3 pm
Game 5: Franklin vs. Winner Game 3, 6 pm
Game 6: Winner Game 4 vs. Loser Game 3, 9 pm

Saturday, May 11
Game 7: Loser Game 5 vs. Winner Game 6, 12:30 pm
Game 8: Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 7, 3:30 pm

Sunday, May 12
Game 9: Rematch of Game 8, 12:30 pm
