- Rose-Hulman has been picked to finish 2nd in the HCAC this season, according to the preseason league coaches poll released in January
- Luke Buehler is a second-team all-Mideast Region selection and was named HCAC Pitcher of the Year in 2019
- Buehler enters 2020 with a 13-7 career record, a 2.31 ERA and 137 strikeouts in 175.2 innings of work
- Clayton Mayfield has also been a key three-year contributor on the mound, with a 12-7 career record, six saves, a 4.21 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 147.1 innings of work
- Offensively, Rose-Hulman returns infielder Ryan Stachowski (.347, 15 2B, 1 HR); infielder Luke Calabrese (.317, 5 2B); outfielder Harris Camp (.317, 3 2B, 3 3B, 1 HR); designated hitter Logan Cody (.299, 12 2B, 1 HR); infielder Luke Kluemper (.298, 4 2B); and infielder Josh Mesenrink (.257, 5 2B) from last year's starting lineup
- Rose-Hulman has won four HCAC Tournament titles, three regular season HCAC championships and made two appearances in the NCAA Division III Regional Championship Round since 2009.
