CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Rose-Hulman women's indoor track & field team brought home their sixth indoor title in the last nine years at the 2026 HCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Head Coach Shane Mills was named the HCAC Coach of the Year. Other special award winners included Jocelyn Onstot, winning Distance Athlete of the Year, and Rose Talbert, being named Sprint Athlete of the Year. 

The Fightin' Engineers finished the meet with eight event wins and 13 top-three finishes. 

Onstot led the team in running events with two individual event wins in the mile run (5:06.41) and the 800-meter run (2:18.03). Her time in the 800 is a new conference record for the event.

Onstot teamed up with Talbert, Mackenna Bessler, and Gaby Hansen to pick up a win in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:10.85.

Talbert earned an event win in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.04 to set the new HCAC record in the event.

Alex Adams also made an impact with multiple event wins. Adams won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.93 seconds, which ranks second in the Rose-Hulman school record book. Adams teamed up with Narindwa Semakula, Iliana Hernandez, and Ella Schulz to win the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:47.38. 

Semakula also earned an event win of her own in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.38. 

Irene Lema Madueno led the team in field events, winning the pole vault competition after clearing a height of 3.40 meters (11' 1.75"). This height breaks her own school record in the event.

Individual event and relay winners shall be considered First Team All-HCAC.
All second-place finishers shall be considered Second Team All-HCAC. The
third-place finishers in all events will be designated Honorable Mention All-Conference Performers.
